Rob, the founder, grew up on a small farm in New Jersey where organic gardening and working with the land was part of everyday life. What started as long hours helping in the garden eventually turned into a real appreciation for how thoughtful work can completely transform a property. During college, after working multiple landscape jobs, that interest turned into a career.

With over 20 years of hands-on experience, including time spent with some of the largest landscaping companies in the country, Rob saw firsthand what works, and what doesn’t. That experience became the foundation for a different approach, one focused on quality, thoughtful design, and long-term results.

Melissa brings a creative and detail-oriented perspective to the company. As a designer, planner, and mother, she has always prioritized creating healthy, natural environments at home and in the landscape. Her focus on sustainable practices and intentional design helps ensure every project is both beautiful and practical.

Together, they started Lewis Natural Landscapes to offer something better. A more personalized, design-focused approach to landscaping and outdoor living. One that considers not just how a space looks today, but how it performs and grows over time.
